Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos, as SCH-i589, with two SIM cards will be available only in China and India. It differs slightly from the first Ace, but the specification remained almost constant. About the launch in Europe - silence.

If it appears in Europe, it will be definitely in a slightly modified version. May it come to the U.S.? Although the dual-SIM option in America is not very popular because of operators carefully guarding their zones of influence. The Chinese branch of Samsung publishes scarce technical data, and user manual in English, but the one destined for India can also be found in the local service of the manufacturer.

Comparing with the one SIM version - there has been modyfication in a camera location that has been shifted more towards the centre. LED flash has disappeared, and a volume button on the right side of the housing has been replaced by two of them. Only this we can see in the small rendered images from the Chinese branch of Samsung.

The least certain part of the published technical specification in our Galaxy Ace Duos SCH-i589 is the CPU clock frequency. Most Chinese websites, including those strictly professional, gives 832 MHz, some - 800 MHz as in a standard Galaxy Ace. I am also not certain of a service and class of GPRS / EDGE as Samsung provides only support for GSM 800/1800 on one card and two areas of CDMA / CDMA 2000 on the other.

Ace Ace is an example of good optimising the smartphone's specification and price. It's a shame that we have little chance for its dual-SIM version.
