Contracts related to the change of the brand and all related financial transactions were to be finalized in January. The case is slightly delayed, but on February 15, 2012 instead of the phones brand Sony Ericsson we have the Sony brand.

More specifically: instead of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB there is Sony Corporation - which may also have in name Mobile Communications. The negotiations on the agreements had to take a long time, because apart from the formalities associated with the brand name change referred also to the settlement agreements.

On buying by Sony Ericsson's shares, the other is to gain 7.5 billion booked as other operating income.

Since October we have known that this moment will come soon. Although some commentators believe that the era of Sony Ericsson ended with the entrance of large displays to the sale, tactile, but we try to evaluate the company's market presence on the basis of all its accomplishments. From our perspective, Sony has done much to save the company giving more brands like Playstation, Exmor, or Bravia for mobile devices.

An important chapter in the history of the telecommunications industry is closed. Appreciating the good and happiness which the Swedish-Japanese phone have given us, trying to forget about the failures, we wait for the future constructions that will appear on the market exclusively under the brand name Sony.
