Several days ago we wrote about smartphone-tablet LG Optimus Vu, which will be a direct competitor for the Galaxy Note. And here it is - officially!

LG puts on a larger agility, so the Optimus Vu is a bit smaller than a competitor. It measures 139.6 x90, 4x8, 5 mm with a 168 g weight and has a 5-inch IPS display with a 4:3 and a resolution of 1024x768 pixels that exceed the brightness of 650 nits. The screen, like in Samsung, you can handle not only your fingers, but also with the stylus, which will facilitate precise sketching or writing notes. The phone is powered up with the 2080 mAh battery, which gives hope for a work time exceeding two days. A 1.5GHz dual Core Qualcomm CPU should provide similar performance to the Note, in the Optimus Vu there can be found even 32 GB of onboard memory, and two cameras: 8 - and 1.3-megapixel. In selected markets, the model will have LTE module - but this version probably will come to Europe. The phone is managed by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but LG is already working on upgrading to version 4.0.
