This is the third phone announced by ZTE GSM before the GSM Congress in Barcelona. It is called Mimosa X, and its heart is the NVIDIA Tegra 2, with the NVIDIA Icera 450 HSPA+ modem.The operating system is Android 4.0.

We will be able to admire the graphical interface Android Ice Cream Sandwich a high quality QHD (960 x 540 pixel) capacitive TFT touchscreen. The main camera has 5 megapixels and at the front panel there was placed a camera for video calls.

The phone will also have a wide range of user-friendly capabilities built in, including GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, an accelerator for screen orientation management and firmware over the air (FOTA) updating, and a proximity sensor to avoid accidental calls when you attach the phone to your ear.

ZTE promises wireless stereo with Dolby Sound and DLNA for easy sharing of content. It gives also adds dual microphones with noise reduction and gyroscope. NVIDIA Icera 450 - built-in HSPA+ modem offers HSPA + Cat.18 (28 Mbps) at HSUPA Cat.6 (5.7 Mbps), Cat.7 (11 Mbps) - and of course quad GPRS / EDGE networks.

ZTE Mimosa X is announced in the shops in the second quarter of 2012, and before we will see it, of course, in Barcelona. Tegra 2 is definitely a magnet that will attract media attention, but apart from that Mimosa offers no stunning news. It is widely known that ZTE competes with other brands especially with value for money, not the performance of devices.
