Samsung renews the Galaxy brand, offering two enhancements of the proven design. Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy mini 2 will appear in two alternative versions: with or without NFC interface.

The size and weight of the phone housings will depend among other things on whether it will have NFC or not. - At least in case of Galaxy mini 2, where Samsung gives in the specification alternative values for the different versions. Before buying it is a good idea to check the exact model you buy, depending on whether we prefer to have the smartphone slightly thinner and lighter, or if we prefer the proximity services such as micropayments.

It seems obvious that the most interesting issue is the difference between old and new versions both for Ace and mini. Below the overall comparison for the older and newer models.

At first glance we can see the larger screen, much more memory, better battery, and of course a little fresher versions of the operating system. Ace 2 got faster HSDPA, and mini 2 a faster processor.

Bags with news from Barcelona scatter slowly. Samsung definitely has not shown yet all the cards.
