Reuters citing Korean sites provides the information about a surprise prepared by Apple. A company from Cupertino is preparing for the 4th quarter of this year, a new device with a retina 4.6 inches display. Bad news for Samsung.

The new iPhone display is to be larger and sharper. Media conclude it from the new orders placed by Apple at LCD matrices manufacturers. Koreans, followed by the Reuters refer to the anonymous source associated with one of the producers. Let's note that Reuters is rather cautious in the administration of gossips taken from the air.

Major manufacturers of displays, ie, LG Display and Samsung Electronics Co., declined to comment, which is obvious because of commercial confidentiality. No comment could be in this case, a sufficient commentary.

Samsung, which is still reluctant to launch the new Galaxy III, used in its latest flagship a 4.6-inch AMOLED display (Galaxy S II HD LTE, Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD). A similar size, although the technology a bit different.
