RAZR V XT889 and MOTOSMART MIX XT553 are two smartphones, which will soon appear in the offer of China Telecom. While XT553 is very similar to XT550, Motorola XT889 so far seems to be a completely new design.
Both smartphones run the Android, however Motorola XT553 has the system in Gingerbread version and XT889 - ICS. Both have local interfaces. The market launch in China Telecom offer still in June.
MOTOSMART MIX XT553 is a dual-mode hybrid design with both EVDO and GSM network support. It has a 4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320x480 pixels, a camera with a 3.2 megapixel sensor and is working with Qualcomm MSM7225 chip with a 800 MHz clock. It seems to be a decent, originally designed mid-range smartphone, which hallmark will probably be a dedicated button for operating the music player, which was placed on top of the enclosure.
Name RAZR V XT889 suggests an association with the model RAZR V MT887, but these are different structures, as seen at first glance, even when we compare the phones cases. Motorola XT889 is a smartphone with qHD display, TI OMAP4430 processor and an 8-megapixel camera. 1 gigabyte of RAM and the processor do not suggest smooth operation of the system, a minimum thickness of the structure will allow wearing the device in your jacket pocket without too much stuffing of the material.
I record next information about Motorola's new models waiting for some innovations already introduced by the new owner - Google. Every time I have to recall that the smartphone's production cycle is a bit longer than a month, and changes take time. Moreover, there is the likelihood that Google will decide on a policy of noninterference, being the transparent owner (apart from, of course, a little thing like the system or integration of certain services) to the final customer.
