Microsoft has already scorched releasing in 2009 to sell outdated phones that have failed in the face of market realities, and besides, the competition is so strong that to be successful, the giant would have to prepare the undisputed hit. Nomura analyst Rick Sherlund last week released a convincing note to clients in which he said Microsoft has a deal with a contract manufacturer to produce Windows Phone 8 phones. Microsoft may have studied the attitude of contractors, or even pre-analyzed (or still is analyzing) the opportunity to brand. A wise man changes his mind, a fool never will. If marketers recognize that such a move will pay off, previous statements will not have any meaning. Source InformationWeek; viewed: 2091 times. |
