I do not like gossips, I like the ideas that seem to be fresh and can improve our everyday use of the necessary communication equipment. It seems that this solution is just like that.

A rumour along with the suspected photo appeared on the WMPoweruser site and suggests that for windows mobile is being prepared an application which will facilitate text communication. Hybrid touch keyboard designed for text input with one hand and ergonomically adapted to the hand holding the smartphone, it seems a very interesting idea, no matter who created it and whether it is true.

Source site for over a year ago gave the information that Microsoft is preparing this kind of touch keyboard. The published photograph is to be a screenshot of the video presenting the new software. The film for unknown reasons is not available, the picture itself appears to be false, at least because of a strange cut edges of the keyboard, despite a large amount of space on the display.

The keyboard presented in the photo designed for typing with your thumb, has a QWERTY layout, but it is a hybrid solution, which in this case means the keys with triple letters and the need for intelligent input dictionary for the correct words. The slope matches the angle between the hand and the phone.

The solution could find many supporters if the idea was actually implemented. Even if it is just a figment of the Internet wits, it deserves the attention of designers.
