The manufacturer reports that, thanks to the battery-saving technology developed by Huawei, it was able to reduce power consumption by up to 30 percent. In combination with the high capacity 2600 mAh battery, smartphone Ascend D1 Quad XL provides 15 hours talk and 500 hours in standby mode. The result would not be impressive, if it concerned a simple smartphone or a usual mobile for calling. Here, however, we have a powerful phone with a large 4.5 inches HD IPS + touch screen and a density of 330 PPI. Along with a good image there should go a good listening experience. Dolby Mobile 3 technology and Audience earSmart will ensure it. The heart of the smartphone is the processor K3V2 clocked at 1.2 GHz and the integrated graphics processor GPU 16x. A built-in 1 GB of RAM ensures smooth switching between applications that run, and 8 GB of storage ROM provides enough space for the files, and the memory can be further expanded using microSD cards up to 32 GB. The rear camera with an 8-megapixel sensor with dual LED flash, and minimal delay uses BSI technology, which allows to take good photos even in low light. A built-in 1.3 megapixel front camera for video calling allows you to record movies in Full HD, which can then be played back on the monitor or adapted to the TV using MHL adapter (Mobile High-Definition Link) or DLNA technology.
With less than 65 mm wide and 11.5 mm thick, Ascend D1 Quad XL retains slim line and pleasing to the eye look. Unfortunately, praising its new product, Huawei forgot to inform us about the date of introduction of D1 Quad XL for sale and the expected price.
