Huawei unveiled at the IFA 2012 a new smartphone Ascend Y 201 pro, the successor to the highly popular Ascend Y 200. This affordable model designed for beginners, is to provide an easy entry into the world of smartphones.

The phone runs on Android 4.0 and comes with a rich set of features. Thanks to the latest version of Android, smartphone provides a simple multitasking, efficient, instant messaging, personalized screen and lots of interactive extras. Ascend Y 201 pro is equipped with a 800 MHz processor, 320x480 HVGA display and 512 MB of memory. With more than 4 GB of ROM, 201 Y Pro offers a lot of space to store downloaded applications from the Android Market store. The space for the files can be expanded up to 32 GB with microSD card.
