The new 4 inches display, made with IGZO technology, has a resolution of 1136x640 pixels at 326 ppi density. IGZO display is flatter than previously used, it does not need as strong backlighting - so uses less power. iPhone supports GPRS, EDGE, EV-DO, HSPA, HSPA +, DC-HSDPA and LTE in particular! Dual-channel 802.11n Wi-Fi will provide support for a wireless experience up to 150 Mbps. The new iPhone uses the A6 processor - twice as fast as the model used in the 4S and more energy efficient. The battery is intended to provide up to 8 hours of talk time, the same strength when using LTE, you will listen to music for 40 hours, and 225 hours on stand by. The motherboard picture shown during the presentation suggests that Apple will apply nanoSIM cards. It's time for the camera. The new iPhone camera will have a backside-illuminated 8 megapixel sensor with a 5 element lens and an f/2.4 aperture. These are the same parameters as in the 4S - but now the camera module is 25 percent smaller. The novelty will be a sapphire crystal lens cover and something really interesting - the panorama feature, which gives the effect gluing several shots in a 28-megapixel image. Video - recorded in 1080p - will be recorded with a reduction in vibration, and additionally, there is the ability to take still photos as you record. The front facing camera will provide 720p resolution - and will make FaceTime calls through mobile communications, not just Wi-Fi. The new iPhone has three microphones - at the fromt, bottom and back - all in order to better collect voice and filter unwanted background noises. There is also a wider spectrum for audio. The new model - as expected - received unfortunately a completely new, smaller connector system called Lightning. It means that it is necessary to replace all the accessories - except for headphones. But these are also brand new, they have a different shape... and name: Earpods. I hope they will be of a better quality than the previous ones. Their slot drifted from the top to the bottom of the phone, next to the speaker outlet. As a consolation – there will be offered an adapter from the old connector to the new one... The port is not compatible with microUSB, which I was secretly hoping... There is no NFC module, which presence seemed almost obvious after we met one of the components of the new iOS, which is a Passbook system. It turned out that it can be done without... The announcement of the new iPhone also entails the launch of a new, sixth version of iOS. We wrote about the system itself a few weeks ago when it was presented at the WWDC. There are new maps, improved Safari browser... Changes also included Siri, which is now run more efficiently, better recognises speech and supports more languages. The new model will go on sale Sept. 21 in major markets, and its price will not differ from current prices of 4S model. The 64 GB version will cost $ 399, 299 for the 32 GB and the 16 – 199. The previous generation will cost $ 99. This, of course, a price list for the USA. On September 19 there will be available iOS6 for iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, iPad 2 and 3, and iPod Touch. Together with the new iPhone Apple updates iTunes and introduces new iPods. Nano model has gained a whole new shape, no mechanical playback keys and a 2.5-inch touch screen with a brand new interface. It is also equipped with Bluetooth and a camera and FM radio with DVR (recording). Touch model (as so far) was made similar to the iPhone – it has therefore a larger screen (4", 1136x640 pixels) and a new casing. Similarly to iPhone also Nano has a new Lightning connector. It is a little slimmer, but it has got a FaceTime HD camera, a 5 megapixel camera, faster A5 processor and something really amazing ;): there's a protruding button on the back, to which you can attach a wrist strap. The housing will be available in several colours, like the Nano and Shuffle models. The latter was also affected by the changes - but only in the case colours. Interesting is the fact that the previous generation of iPod Touch is also in the offer. Prices? iPod Shuffle 2 GB costs $ 49, Nano 16 GB - $ 149, Touch 4 16/32 GB - 199/249 USD and Touch 5 32/64 GB - 299/399 USD.
