The Acer company has officially presented their smartphones from this year's product line. Liquid Z2 joins Liquid E1 which was disclosed a few days ago on the eve of the Mobile World Congress.

Liquid E1 has a 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android Jelly Bean and a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 960x540 pixels. The phone will be available as a single and dual-SIM and its hallmark will be DTS stereo speakers. It will also receive FM radio, A-GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0, a gigabyte of RAM and 4GB of ROM. The casing measures 132x68,5x9,9 mm and weights 130 g, the battery will have a capacity of 1760 mAh.

The Liquid Z2 is a more budget structure, but still with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, however with a smaller display - 3.5-inch 480x320 pixels. A user, like in a higher model, will receive 4 GB of memory with an option to expand with a microSD card, but working memory is reduced to 512 MB. This model also gets Jelly Bean, but with the company's interfaces. Just as E1, it will be sold as a dual-SIM and a variety on one card. Buyers will also have the choice between a variety with 3- or 5-megapixel camera. The phone measures 110x62,5x12,25 mm, weights 110 g, and it will be powered with the 1300 mAh battery.

Acer has not given the final price of the new model, informing only that Liquid E1 is expected to cost between 200 and 230 euro, while the Z2 price will be in the range from 100 to 130 euro. In the first place Liquids hit the Belgian, French, Dutch and Ukrainian markets, and later they will visit the United Kingdom, Italy and Russia. And before that – they will be shown in public in Barcelona.
