The series of smartphone presentations at CES opens Honor. The brand belonging to Huawei announced the launch of Honor 6X for sale in the US and Europe.
According to available information at this time, the "global" variant of Honor 6X should not differ significantly from the version that was presented in October on the Chinese market.
Honor 6X will be available in two versions - with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory and a memory version 4+64 GB. The memory can be expanded with a microSD card of 128 GB, and the heart of the device is an octa-core Kirin 655 2,1 GHz processor. The phone features a 5.5-inch FullHD display and a battery with a capacity of 3340 mAh. The dual camera in Honor 6X has a resolution of 12+2 megapixels and it is equipped with PDAF and a single LED flash. While the front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels. Honor 6X supports LTE and VoLTE technology, it also has a fingerprint scanner, located on the rear panel. There are, of course, modules Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. All is managed by Android 6.0 with the overlay EMUI 4.1. The device has dimensions of 150.9 x 72.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 162 g. Everything was closed in a metal housing, which will be available in silver, graphite and gold.
Honor 6X will be on sale in a few days, and its price will be 249 or 299 euro (for 4+64 GB). The model with more memory will be launched slightly later - during the first quarter of this year.
