Razer Phone announcement
The Razer company, widely known in the gaming world, announced a launch of their new device for the 1st of November. There are major indications that it will be a smartphone.
Rumours are still unclear – but we just need to look at graphics published by Razer. We can clearly see that the young person is holding a phone in his hand… And what is more, the device has already appeared in the GFX Bench benchmark.
According to the benchmark data Razer Phone (the device can be identified only by this name and it is possible that it will stay…) has a 5.7-inch 2560x1440 resolution display and an octa-core Qualcomm 2.4GHz CPU with Adreno 540 GPU. This is probably Snapdragon 835 which will be set with 8Gb of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, from which the user will be left with 49GB.
The device works under Android 7.1.1 with Razer’s add-on, it has NFC, accelerometer and a gyroscope. In the photography section we can find an 8-megapixel front camera and a 12-megapixel main one, which saves UHD movies as well. As you can see, the specification is strong, but it does not stand out from other top flagships. Of course the specific housing, stylization and software dedicated for gamers might be advantages of Razer Phone – but we do not have any information about the phone yet.
