LG announces that it will present two new mid-segment models at the MWC. These will be LG K8 2018 and LG K10 2018.
The new LG models will be available in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. The phones will receive plastic (K8) or metal (K10) enclosures with 2.5D rounded glass, as well as new colours: Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue and Terra Gold. Smartphones will be equipped with improved cameras with new features - Timer Helper ("countdown" of the self-timer signaled with a diode) and Flash Jump Shot (combining the sequence of a maximum of 20 photos in an animated GIF).
LG K8 2018 will be equipped with 5-inch HD display, a quad-core processor with 1.3 GHz clock and 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory for data, with the possibility of expanding with a 32 GB microSD card. The smartphone will also receive cameras with resolutions of 8 and 5 megapixels, a removable battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh and Android system 7.1.2. The equipment will also include LTE, Wi-Fi, FM radio or Bluetooth 4.2, and all together will go into a housing with dimensions of 146.3 x 73.2 x 8.2 mm and it will weigh 152 g.
In turn, K10 2018 will be offered in three versions - K10, K10+ and K10 Alpha, differing in memory, cameras and a range of available colours. K10 has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of flash memory and rear camera 13 Mpx and front 8 or 5 Mpx (wide angle). The same cameras can be found in K10+, which, however, already has 3+32 GB of memory. In turn, K10 Alpha will be the simplest - with a memory of 2+16 GB and 8+5 megapixels cameras.
All K10 have eight-core processors with a 1.5 GHz clock, 5.3-inch HD screens, 3000 mAh batteries and WiFi, LTE, NFC, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.2. The dimensions of the housing are 148.7 x 75.3 x 8.68 mm, and the weight of the phone is 162 g. The system - this is unfortunately still Android 7.1.2 Nougat. K10 will be available in Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, Terra Gold, K10+ in Moroccan Blue and Terra Gold, and K10 Alpha in Aurora Black and Terra Gold.
