During the MWC the General Mobile smartphone - GM 8 Go officially debuted. Probably the name of the manufacturer is not known to you - it is a Turkish company that is one of many cooperating with Google when creating Android One devices. In total, it is present on markets in over 30 countries.
The company presented the GM 8 Go model - one of the first products that use the Android Oreo (Go edition) system. Of course, it targets the lower price level (as indicated by the Android version of Go, adapted to devices with lower specification (even with 1 GB of RAM).
GM 8 Go has a 5.5-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and HD+ resolution, or 720x1440 pixels (protected by Gorilla Glass), a 13-megapixel main camera with a f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera with lens f/2.2. It has Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition on board, a 4-core Mediatek MT6739 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory (with the possibility of mounting a microSD card). Additionally, a fingerprint scanner, the most important communication modules (Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2), GPS and GLONASS navigation, all powered by a 3500 mAh battery. Sales will start this month.
