A few days ago we presented you the CAT S61 model - the successor of the S60 smartphone, which was equipped with a thermal imaging camera. We have now visited CAT during the MWC to see this model live.
Let's remind at the beginning that CAT S61 is a device with a new and improved, integrated thermovision module, with a laser measuring device and a sensor that checks air quality. Of course, it is a model resistant to all worst external conditions: dust, vibrations, sand, pressure, water and falls. This is confirmed by certificates - IP68 and MIL-STD-810G.
The heart of the device is Snapdragon 630, supported by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in memory. A 16-megapixel camera can record in 4K. The manufacturer promises Android 8.0 Oreo from the beginning and update to Android P. Plus a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, Bluetooth 5.0 and fast charging Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. The sale is to begin in the second quarter of 2018 - and the price of the device has been set at 899 euro.
More information on the specifications and functions of this model can be found here.

In Barcelona, Vivo presented a working prototype of the Apex model, a frameless smartphone with a pop-up camera and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen. Now we've learned that this device will hit the market in the middle of the year.
In Barcelona, we saw a lot of new models of Nokia smartphones and phones. But we expect that these are not all new products that will be presented this year by HMD Global - we are waiting primarily for Nokia 8 Pro and Nokia 9.
