Forgot to mention...how was NUU going to replace the R1 when it has been out of stock, not known when any would come in, let alone is it still being manufactured??? Had placed a call to NUU from a friends phone...no R1's in stock...

Me again...this time the date is May 2nd, 2022...now have another issue with the crappy NUU R1...since my last comment over a year ago this phone has only been out of the box to keep it charged and run updates, then back in the box again in a dresser drawer in a cool environment as I purchased this phone due to the fact that I knew one day my Nokia X6 would be called out and no longer functional as it is a 3G band phone...

Well, July 1st, 2022, T-Mobile will no longer support 3G service...my Nokia has always been safe for me with regards to all the info I need to exchange as I have a spinal disability with movement, but limitations...this means account numbers, insurance info, medical info needs to be exchanged...the Nokia X6 is not Android based, not Apples iOS, and not Microsoft (if Microsoft still makes OS's for mobile phones any longer)...the Nokia X6 uses the "Symbian" OS which to this day has never been hacked that I know of as I have heard it is not worth a hackers time as that OS isn't that common and so on..

Anyway, goodbye Nokia X6...sooooooo- after charging the NUU R1, running the updates and preparing to transfer my info over, the motherf*** screen pops off on the right side of case...it doesn't snap back on...it doesn't pop back on...I can't see any adhesive strip holding it down in the body...WHAT THE F*** !!!

E-mailed NUU (U.S.)...received as e-mail back...mobile is no longer under warranty...yet, my mobile phone was registered the day after I purchased it...

NUU (someone named Jessie ?) claims mail it to NUU and they will replace with another phone...Hey Sounds Great !
However, I need the original receipt...

Receipts these days are typically printed on thermal paper...after a awhile they bleach (fade) out...
Not enough that my phone was registered...they want a
Receipt...no the store doesn't have copies, let alone my credit card company purged the records a year ago...NUU wants a receipt...hmmmm...

They know what date and where I purchased the phone from by the info entered when registering it !!! They know the model #...they know the serial #...they offered to replace it under extenuating circumstances...they were advised I have a spinal disability with limitations...they were made aware that I moved residency at least 3 times since purchasing and if I knew which of the sealed 27 or more bins it was in that it would not only cause me physical problems moving bins around, but very doubtful it would be legible...and of course I'd need to cover the shipping back and forth!!!

Took the phone to a mobile phone repair person...screen needs to be installed with a special adhesive...Bulls**t
As there isn't any adhesive holding the other side on and no evidence of adhesive on the side that popped up...by the way, the screen lights up and partially functions as it is not cracked...sorry for omitting that...

Real simple solution...eat the $$$ I spent for a phone I never used...and SPREAD THE WORD that in my opinion and for what it is worth...that NUU manufactures crap!!!
They made their $$$ so what do they care...just want to make it difficult for me to get any satisfaction...NUU should be banned from selling in the U.S. and elsewhere
and the Federal Trade Commission should fine them into bankruptcy as this phone was suppose to be RUGGED!!!

I hope this comment will stop or prevent anybody thinking about purchasing a NUU brand phone from doing so...

Great phone regarding design and function.Was surprised that the memory card I put in was accepted as phone tech site claimed 32GB was the limit...well, well, well...the phone accepted the 128GB memory card without a hig-up !!! Probably would accept a 256GB card if I had one available.
Customer representative at NUU when telephoned was cold, no personality, stand offish...didn't really want to discuss an issue I was having with the mobile phone...The DAMN BATTERY is crap...only holds a three hour charge. Called NUU and battery is soldered in.
Phone is suppose to be retired after 2 years.
This is pure BS !!! Also that by opening phone's case would void the warranty...again BS...as you must open the phone's case to place the 2nd SIM card if you want an additional line...
This phone looks like a phone BATMAN would own...therefore, I find the 2 year life expectancy of the phone BS !!!
Just give me a full day of battery life as other phones have and I would be grateful...
