As you may have noticed, there is a bit more emotion to this review than usual. It's probably because I just liked this phone enormously - and not only for its "fabulousness". It is a smartphone perfect for working with text - and as I have already mentioned - I know that it would be a great "reporter" equipment. I like the comfort of reading on the big screen, as well as the sound that comes out of the two speakers. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a sensible, convenient interface as well as full communication facilities. I also like how this design has changed from its predecessor, not to mention the copper colour of the housing.
I have no objections to the performance and smoothness of operation, and I cannot complain about the quality of photos and videos. To the ideal I put aside, I miss more memory (or a microSD card slot, and preferably - both), a minijack, a greater zoom ratio and a better fingerprint reader. This last element disturbed me the most. Having tested all (so far) Samsung foldable smartphones, I am completely not afraid of the durability of the structure. I am able to get over the performance of the battery, because I am aware that it results directly from the specifics of this design. Agreed, there could be better, I wouldn't disregard it.
The wave on the screen does not bother me at all, although I would not be offended if my dream smartphone was no longer there. And of course the price. What can you say when a smartphone, however great it may be, costs 1800-2000 euro depending on a country? The case is not saved by a possible return of 600 euro after the purchase, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is expensive and that's it. Expending such an amount on a smartphone is an abstraction for many of us - but if you can afford such a purchase, buy this phone. Or its successor ...
