The American network AT&T officially announced the launch of the smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. The phone will be available in AT&T on an exclusive basis - at least in the initial sales period.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a 5.1-inch QHD SuperAMOLED display and the Exynos 7420 processor - exactly as the standard version of the phone. The novelty, however, is the housing that meets the high standards of IP68 and Mil-STD-810G. They mean that the phone is waterproof, protected against dust, as well as damage caused by falls, crushing etc. The phone also received a battery with big capacity (3500 mAh), but there is no information about a microSD slot, which was reported in leaks. It offers only 32 GB of a built-in flash media. From the standard model - quite rightly – there were borrowed excellent cameras (16 and 5 megapixels), there was unchanged also the TouchWiz interface based on Android 5.0.2. There will be a completely different style when it comes to the housing. The phone will be slightly thicker and dressed in a camouflage pattern - a shade of gray, blue and white. The phone will cost less than $ 24 a month - with a contract for 30 months.
