Another curiosity is the use of screen vibrations as a loudspeaker of the handset. Screen SoundCasting technology is designed to provide clean high tones and deeper bass than traditional speakers. There is also a fingerprint reader integrated into the screen. The rest is a bit more ordinary, though we're still in the flagship zone. The heart of NEX S is the Snapdragon 845 supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory. The phone has a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging, and in the role of the system, Android 8.1 with the Funtouch OS 4.0 interface enriched with the voice assistant Jovi.
Vivo NEX S received a rear camera with 12 and 5 megapixel sensors and lenses with apertures f/1.8 and f/2.4. The camera is of course assisted by artificial intelligence. The phone will be available only in China after June 23. The price for the 128 GB version is 4498 yuan (703 USD), while for the 256 GB model - 4998 yuan (780 USD).
Wraz z NEX S was launched with NEX S - a model similar in design and size, but equipped with a Snapdragon 710 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory. It also differs from the more expensive brother in the lack of a fingerprint reader underneath the screen - it has a standard one at the back of the casing. The price of this variant is 3,898 yuan or $609.
