Recently, we wrote about the names and appearance of this year's iPhone models. It’s time to complete this information about the price and designation of the cheapest model.

As we know, the two main, more expensive iPhone models are to be named iPhone XS and XS Plus (although recent information indicates that it will be XS Max). Today, we get to know the name of the cheapest model, with the lowest specification and LCD screen instead of OLED. I usually call this model "budget", although it sounds a bit absurd in the case of an Apple smartphone. In any case – we’re talking about the cheapest Apple smartphone, which apparently goes to the market as an iPhone Xr. If it does, we will have a significant revolution in Apple's terminology. So far, the budget model has been given a name clearly indicating that it does not belong to the top family - and now it will be the other way round, "X" will appear ...

There should be no significant changes in the price list. According to the Macerkpof forecast, this year's Apple models should be priced similarly to the current one. The "budget" model, i.e. the iPhone Xr, is to cost 929 dollars, or 799 euro. This amount is similar to that for which the iPhone 8 is offered. Models with OLED screens, namely the iPhone XS and XS Plus are to be valued at 1055 and 1335 dollars, which gives 909 and 1149 euro. These are, of course, prices for phones with 64 GB of memory. Models equipped with 256 GB of internal memory are to be about 197 dollars (170 EUR) more expensive. If it is really going to be like this - we will see on September 12th.
