Along with LG V40 ThinQ, the Korean company also introduced a new smartwatch, LG Watch W7. It's a hybrid model that combines the classic pointer mechanism with smart technology.
LG Watch W7 in its waterproof (IP68), metal housing hides the classic pointer mechanism, in the background of which there is a 1.2-inch display with a resolution of 360x360 pixels and a density of 300 ppi, on which the interface of the Wear OS system appears. The heart of the watch is the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, supported by 768 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. The watch has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, but there is no information about the presence of LTE or NFC or heart rate monitor.
Thanks to the use of the pointer mechanism, the battery with a capacity of 240 mAh can provide up to 100 days of operation - but with the smart functions turned off, in the normal watch mode. When you run the smartwatch, the watch can run up to 2 days, and after that time - another 3-4 days in the timer mode. The housing has dimensions 44.5x45,4x12,9 mm, fit the typical 22 mm wide straps, and the whole weighs 79.5 g. The price and availability of LG Watch W7 have not yet been determined.
