Sharp presented the compact smartphone Aquos R2 Compact - a phone that the world has not seen. Literally! It has two notches in the screen - top and bottom.
Why two? The matter is simpler than it seems. The top notch, of course, has an 8-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 lens. In turn, a fingerprint scanner was installed in the bottom. Why not at the back? The scanner has not only a protective role, but it is also a touch panel replacing the system keys. That’s the whole secret - and that, by the way, it makes the phone stand out from the others - even better.
Ekran Aquos R2 Compact screen measures 5.2 inches, has a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels and refreshes at 120 Hz - which is another element that distinguishes this model. The heart of the phone is Snapdragon 845, supported by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, which of course can be expanded with a microSD card. At the back you will find a single 22.6-megapixel camera and f/1.9 aperture. It supplies the battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh, and controls - Android Pie. The enclosure, measuring 131x64x9.3 mm, is IP58 tight and the whole phone weighs 135 g.
