As announced, the launch of the Honor V20 model took place in China today. The phone will also come to Europe - but only in January of the coming year. The specification should not, however, significantly differ from the Chinese version presented today - so let's take a look at what this model offers.
Honor V20 received a 6.4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080x2310 pixels with a 4.5-mm hole for the front camera. The aforementioned selfie camera has 25 megapixels and a lens with f/2.0 brightness and advanced beautification of the whole silhouette. The heart of the phone is the octogonal Kirin 980 processor with Turbo 2.0 GPU technology and a special cooling system. Honor V20 for now has two RAM variants - 6 and 8 GB, combined with the internal memory 128 GB flash, but without the possibility of expanding with a microSD card.
The highlight of Honor V20 is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera with f/1.8 lens, assisted by an additional ToF lens that captures the depth of the image. Honor V20 also has DualSIM, NFC and a gyroscope, dual band Wi-Fi (with an additional antenna and accelerated download of LinkTurbo) and Bluetooth 5.0. The power supply is provided by a 4000 mAh battery, with 4.5V/5A fast charging, but also up to 9V/2A compatibility. As the system we have Android Pie with the MagicUI 2.0.1 interface.
The housing with dimensions 156.9 x 75.4x8.1 mm is covered with a gradient pattern with the "V" motif, appearing in three colours. The price of the cheaper version is 2999 yuan, or $ 435. The variant with 8 GB of RAM was priced at 3499 yuan, or $ 508. There will also be a special edition of Moschino, with 256 GB memory and a price of 3999 yuan - or 580 USD.
