Redmi Note 7 made its debut today as the first Redmi smartphone connected to Xiaomi until recently, which is currently trying to become independent. The 48 Mpx camera at the beginning of independence is a good gift.
Redmi Note 7 has a LTPS display with a droplet notch, which offers a 6.3-inch surface, a resolution of 1080x2340 px and 450 Nits brightness. The proportions of 19.5: 9, the contrast of 1500: 1 - should be good in this respect, although we might want the AMOLED.
The main advantage of Redmi Note 7 is the main rear camera with the Sony IMX586 matrix with a resolution of 48 Mpx producing photos 8000x6000 pixels. A lens with f/1.8 combined with such a sensor, even at the size of a 1/2" sensor, gives hope for reasonably sensible pictures also in poor light. The system is a dual-lens and the first one is accompanied by the second camera with a 5-megapixel sensor. In the front, we have 13 Mpx, which will take care of the good - hopefully - selfie.
Redmi Note 7 is based on Snapdragon 660 with 2.2 GHz clock in three memory versions: 3 GB RAM + 32 GB flash, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB flash and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB flash. They will cost 999 (128 Euro, 146 USD), 1199 (153 Euro, 175 USD) and 1399 Yuan (180 Euro, 205 USD) respectively.
The smartphone supports 2 SIM cards and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery and allows you to use QuickCharge 4.0 technology. In addition to the USB-C socket, the 3.5 mm audio jack was fortunately kept. Unfortunately, there is so far no information about NFC and the availability of the device outside the primary market. We must wait for something closer than the Chinese launch.
