An unofficial preview of the "budget" Google smartphone, i.e. Pixel 3 Lite, appeared on YouTube. The film contains quite a lot of information.
The person presenting the phone says that the device is relatively small and handy, it can be easily handled with one hand. It was noted that although the phone made a lot of different savings, the whole thing works smoothly and does not look cheap.
The housing of Pixel 3 Lite is made of plastic, but visually refers to the more expensive Pixel models. On the front we have classic, simple frames around the screen, but there are no stereo speakers. It's single, at the bottom. The screen has a 5.56 inch diagonal and Full HD+ resolution, which gives a density of 434 ppi at an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The heart of the phone is the new Snapdragon 670 - so new that some benchmarks are not able to recognize it, but the reviewer ensures that the device under the control of Android 9 works very smoothly. The processor supports 4 GB of RAM and Adreno 615 graphics. The phone has only 32 GB of internal memory, but users get a lot of free space in the Google cloud.
The battery is charged with a 2915 mAh battery, and the phone - interestingly - is equipped with a minijack. Cameras are single. The front one is 8, and the back one is 12.2 megapixels. The latter has optical image stabilization, a 28 mm wide f/1.8 wide-angle lens and 1.4 micrometre pixel sized pixels at a 1/2.55 inch size. The narrator claims that the main camera offers photo quality comparable to the "big" Pixel - and if we care only for photography, in his opinion there is no point in overpaying for a more expensive model, because Lite offers similar possibilities.
