BlackView has informed us that it is preparing the successor to the rugged Blackview BV9600 Pro. The new Blackview BV9700 Pro has a refreshed styling and several enhancements to its predecessor.

Blackview BV9700 Pro will be enclosed in a high-strength enclosure, equipped with a few additional fixes to make it more robust than the previous model. There appears stylization called "Transformers", the screen notch has been reduced and IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810G certificates were obtained. The display of the phone has a thickened glass - but it remains a classic ICE Full HD+ matrix with a diagonal of 5.84 inches.

The heart of the new model will be the Helio P70 processor with the ARMI Mali-G72 MP3 graphics chip, which will receive 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. There will be microSD slots - but in a hybrid solution, alternatively with DualSIM. Power will be provided by a 4380 mAh battery with fast and wireless charging. There will be a fingerprint reader and face recognition system on board, as well as a pulse sensor and a sensor for air pollution.

W Blackview BV9700 Pro will include cameras from Samsung. The front will be a 16-megapixel lens with a brightness F/2.0, while the rear will receive two matrices - 16 and 8 Mpx and lenses with apertures F/1.75 and F/2.0. Optionally, an external thermal imager will be offered, connected via USB-C. The new model will initially be offered through the Indiegogo platform, but the manufacturer hasn’t determined the price yet.
