Meizu today presented the new flagship model Meizu 16S. The smartphone was presented in the Chinese city of Zhuhai, i.e. a romantic city, because - according to the manufacturer - the smartphone is supposed to "delight with its beauty".
Meizu 16S has a minimalist design without a notch, which will probably please many potential users. The screen has a narrow, symmetrical frame, a diagonal of 6.2 inches, AMOLED technology and Full HD+ resolution. The display fills almost the entire front and has a built-in fingerprint reader. Meizu 16S housing is ceramic, thanks to which it is characterized by high resistance to scratching and spectacular refraction of light.
Meizu 16S has achieved a high position in the performance test of Antutu smartphones. One of the highest results in history - 374190 points - was provided by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, the Adreno 640 graphics chip and 6 or 8 GB of RAM. The internal memory can hold 128 or 256 GB. Importantly, for those who are used to contactless phone payments, Meizu 16S is equipped with an NFC module. In addition, the smartphone uses three navigation systems - GPS, GLONASS and BDS. The new flagship from Meizu has two matrices - 48+20 Mpx - in the main camera, which is additionally equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). Power is provided by a battery with a capacity of 3600 mAh, with fast charging of 24 W.
In China, a smartphone costs 3200, 3500 or 4000 yuan, respectively for 6+128, 8+128 and 8+256 GB versions.
