Like last year's Motorola Edge 30 Neo, its successor will also appear in colors designed by Pantone. Now we can look at all the variants.
The previous model was available in four variants developed by the color specialist - Ice Palace white, Aqua Foam aquamarine, Black Onyx black and Very Peri purple. The latter was announced by Pantone as the color of the year 2022. The color of the year 2023 is Viva Magenta, and it will also be possible to buy a Motorola smartphone... specifically Motorola Moto G84 5G. Motorola Edge 40 Neo will not get the most fashionable colour this time, but it will get three other colors from the trend-setting company - bright Soothing Sea, dark Black Beauty and expressive Caneel Bay.
Thanks to the renders, we can also get to know other details of the upcoming phone - the camera island will change visually, and the print above the round LED confirms that the main camera will offer a resolution of 50 Mpx. In addition, the exterior of the smartphone will not change - on the front we will find a selfie camera in a hole in the middle of the upper edge of the screen, volume and power buttons on the right edge, and a SIM card drawer on the bottom next to the speaker, microphone and USB-C socket.

We had the opportunity to hear about the other elements of the specification in earlier leaks. Motorola Edge 40 Neo will lose some of its compactness, offering a 6.55-inch P-OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, but as a consolation we will get an even smoother refresh rate, as much as 144 Hz. The advantage of larger dimensions will be a more capacious battery, offering typical Motorola 5000 mAh and charging with a power of 68 W.
As previously confirmed Geekbench, Motorola Edge 40 Neo will get a Mediatek Dimensity 1050 processor and the Android 13 operating system. The model tested in the benchmark had 8 GB of RAM, but according to leaks, there will also be a variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. In addition to the 50 Mpx main camera, we will also get an additional 13 Mpx camera on the back, and a 32 Mpx camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The new Motorola will also offer IP68 tightness.
The release date of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo is expected on September 15. Its price will be around €399.
