This is my first ever smart phone. Generally I am happy, EXCEPT...

...there are some terrible glitches with the dictionary and autocorrect function.

1. The most commonly used English language prepositions such as 'in', 'on', 'to' come at the bottom of the available autocorrect options. Which is frankly, utterly dumb and slows speed-texting right down. The same goes for the most commonly used phrases/words....see number 2.
2. Typing 'I' automatically comes up as 'G'!!!! Majorly annoying. How many first person sentences start 'G want a phone that works'?!
3. I now have a million numerical combinations to scroll through in my autocorrect dictionary before I reach the words. What is that all about? And, how can it be stopped.
4. The words that I have so far, added to my personal dictionary don't come up at all....so what is the point?!

Either I haven't grasped the Huawei P6's texting functions properly yet, or it is truly awful. I am a dyed-in-the-wool ex Nokia texter - and even on my old basic, dinasaur of a handset, it worked like a dream compared to this one!

Any solutions on offer are welcome.

I found the phone quite nice with a beautiful screen and I actually enjoy every feature of the phone. It's very fast and user friendly. The only things that are still irritating are:

- the newest dictionary (and so autocorrect) is not working and I have not yet found a solution to make it work (I really want this fixed so if anyone knows a solution please post it)
- the little pin to use to open the sim and sd slots is easy to lose if you want earphones in.
- can't easily access the battery to reset it if the screen freezes ( hasn't yet happened but it is nice to know if you can reset it that easily)
- very big, hard to hold and type with one hand

So my only real problem is the first one about the dictionary and I'm definitely going to keep looking for a solution

I have to say that this is still the best phone for this price category even though it has some problems
