FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Kazam Life R5 doesn’t have the option for inductive charging. The only way to charge the phone is with a conventional charger. Our advanced search will help you find phone models that support inductive charging.
Unfortunately, Kazam Life R5 has been designed without a jack socket. The lack of a jack socket means you will need to use Bluetooth headphones. Alternatively, you can purchase a specialised adapter to connect wired headphones to the device. Our advanced search will allow you to check which phone models have a jack socket.

I am a person who does not live with the phone to my ear. A little chat, text messages. I charged the phone on September 23... On October 27 it was still fit for use. Although the battery showed that it is discharged, so I recharged it, but it probably would work even with 3 days.

That's what pisses me off in this model, it is a keyboard that does not illuminate when the phone is locked. At night, I unlock it by intuition. It is the same when someone is calling us. Darkness on the keyboard. We can pick up the incoming call with a green phone or a yellow center key (after 2 clicks), so again "by intuition" (I'm skipping the option to set receiving with any key, which I'm never using). It seems to me that such a struggle with a keyboard should not take place in the phone which allegedly can be operated with gloves; to be friendly in difficult conditions.

The USB plug is closed with a rubber seal. However, if it opens, we have access to the inside of the phone, the keyboard, we can see a piece of printed circuit board to which USB is soldered... The next time someone will do underwater tests of this model, let it sink it with an open USB plug. Eg. in Nokia 3720c the charging socket was secured and the water that was getting under the rubber plug had no meaning. As for the Kazam, I do not know what to think about this topic.

I bought out of curiosity of the Chinese phone. :) At first glance from the outside it makes a positive impression. Typical for this type of phone – a big brick. Upon closer contact – a seal under the battery cover seems to be modest, but maybe this should be like this. The keyboard is probably the most problematic point of the phone. Poor workmanship, as for a phone which is to be indestructible. The paint covering the buttons reminds me of Nokia 5140i performance. The flashlight weaker than in Nokia 3720c. During the conversation, I was well heard and did not have to yell into the phone, which is sometimes a big problem in the sealed phones. Kazam has a stopwatch, and a voice recorder, contrary to the given specification. It has a radio as well. ;) So far that's all. The rest will come out in while using.
