I wrote many times about the interface of the Windows system, so I will not bore you anymore. You can see that Microsoft is developing its software, basically at this moment most of defects were eliminated.

However, I am still enraged by the fact that volume controls work even with a locked (but not dimmed) display. That is why I still accidentally lower or increase the volume – even though I do not want to… An inseparable feature of Windows is its smooth work even on weaker devices. And what if we have a device with 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 with a 2 GB of RAM to support it? It is just like a dream. Tiles are simply floating, everything works smoothly and fast. Though in benchmarks (results below) you cannot see it, Lumia 1520 is one of the fastest phones on the market. I am not talking about numbers, but from the experience of usage.

Apps give positive feelings as well. At this time in the Windows Phone store it is difficult to find any lacks and the manufacturer gave us plenty of preinstalled apps. In Lumia we have nice, offline Here maps and Drive navigation (which in connection with a nicely working GPS/Glonass module can be really likeable), we have Nokia MixRadio as well, which allows to listen music (though with some limitations) for free.

There is a classic FM radio, a special mode for children and a car mode that will automatically activate after connecting it with the HF set of our car as well. In an everyday usage we can find useful apps like “Data Sense”, which counts data transmission, NFC module (with the payment option) or a fitness MSN app. It is worth remembering that Lumia works with Google and iCloud accounts without any problems, which can be important for users changing the platform…
