I switched to the POCO X5 from the Redmi Note 8 Pro, I have had the phone for a month and I have a positive impression of it, the battery lasts me two days and I use the phone very much. The AMOLED screen in 120hz renders colors and image sharpness very well, the phone responds quickly to commands. The only drawback is the somewhat weak main camera, overall very positive feelings from using it.

Pros: hmm performance :), app opening speed etc.
Minus: ad1) the camera is very poor
ad2) wired headphones - sound very quiet, no possibility to improve the sound (Audio-Technica headphones), they work very well on a Samsung phone. JBL wireless headphones work as they should on this phone.

General opinion: for a phone that received such positive reviews in various tests, I am negatively surprised. My previous phone was some Oppo model.

I have owned the phone since December. The first 8 months were quite acceptable. It is a phone without unnecessary features, intended for calling, sending SMS/MMS messages, or using WhatsApp. The charger is excellent, the battery is also quite good, but the camera is of very poor quality. Recently it started to malfunction severely, literally. It freezes on various applications, the caller cannot hear me while I can hear them, or vice versa. It loses the internet connection despite having full signal strength. Windows appear informing about the harmfulness of listening to music at maximum volume on headphones, even though no headphones are connected. The phone was sent to the store as a warranty claim. Apparently, the motherboard was replaced. Only after this replacement did it begin to behave unpredictably, just a few days after I received it. New issues appeared alongside the old ones: freezes in the photo and message applications, and Android Auto (it disconnects and reconnects, which can happen about 4 times within 30 minutes). I want to make a call, I open the contacts, I click on a contact and it does not connect, I click on recent calls, it does not connect, I click on favorites, it does not connect, I click on dial number, it does not react, but after several seconds, it starts calling the number ............. **. A restart restores its functionality for a while, but not for long. A total disappointment. Tomorrow it goes to the store again. I have demanded a refund. It is not worth my stress.

POCO X5 5G yes, but not at this price. In simple words: the phone works decently in everyday use. A plus for the battery and screen. The phone has three significant flaws that make me want to stop using it after a week. - The casing is made of very cheap plastic, but that is the minor issue as you cannot feel the difference in a case. - The camera is terrible! It is impossible to take good, sharp photos even on a sunny day. (Details are lost, which makes the photos look like paintings). - The sound of the phone is flat and quiet, similar to low-quality headphones. Generally, I recommend it if someone needs a phone for calls and the internet. It is impossible to take a vacation photo with this. P.S. I actually miss my old Motorola edge 30 neo.

Honestly, it is a very good phone. I have had it for 2-3 months and it is fast, but the camera is a bit of a drawback; however, I definitely recommend it.
