I have owned the Unihertz Atom L for a year (plus a few days). I bought it mainly for its small size. I like carrying my phone in my front pockets and not having to take it out when sitting down or tying my shoes.
In the course of the year, I have dropped it about 5 times or it was pushed off a tabletop, and there is not even a scratch. After such a fall, one picks up the phone and puts it in a pocket without looking because "it is obvious that nothing happened." It was mounted on bicycle handlebars, submerged in a lake, and used during gardening and renovation work, after which it was enough to rinse it under the tap and it is like new. Currently, with normal use, I have about 60% battery at the end of the day with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on all the time. I mainly use it for calls, chat, some news, navigation, and a Garmin watch is connected all the time; I do not play games (or very rarely). I have not had the slightest problem with the phone. It is heavier than the average phone, but I am 183 cm tall and weigh 80 kg, so I can handle the extra 50 g :) After 1 hour, you get used to the new weight, and your pants do not fall down. The phone fits perfectly in the hand, and there is no fear when taking it out that the Atom device will be damaged or broken by large hands; it provides much more peace of mind than other phones. In the summer, I use navigation a lot, including Google Maps - everything always works great. As for the downsides, it disconnected from the Wi-Fi network on 5G; I switched to 2G and now have no issues. The camera is weak; despite those 48 MP, it is possible to take a good photo, but in my opinion, it takes worse photos than my predecessor, the Sony Xperia XZ2. Protective films for the screen were included with the purchase; the first one already looked terrible after 2 weeks, I did not apply the next one, and yet there is no scratch on the screen. It meets my needs in 95%; that 5% is the camera... I am satisfied and it will stay with me for 100% of the next year, if not longer - mainly due to the problem-free dimensions.
