Efficiency

When it comes to efficiency, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is a true strongman. There is Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB of RAM (there is 8GB version as well). The phone is fast, it has no problems with managing apps on the divided screen or switching between apps working in the background. It deals with more demanding games without any problems, computing even more complex graphics. Basically there would be nothing to criticize if it had not been for a few problems with stability.

During a monthly usage the reviewed device had some few weird lags. They were not bothersome – but they were present and I must mention about them. As a consolation I will add that the phone was back to work really fast and worked smoothly most of times.

Besides the slight lags mentioned before, I will complain about the memory. In this version we have 64 GB of internal memory, out of which we are left with around 55 GB. Well, it is not a small amount, but not a big one either. The worst thing is that we cannot expand the memory with microSD cards – which is a disadvantage of the device. On the other hand, the fact that the phone does not heat up during an intensive usage is an advantage, and a possible slight increase in the temperature does not affect the work of the device noticeably.

Battery

When it comes to charging, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S can be placed among most of its competition. The 3400 mAh battery is capable of maintaining a whole day of work even with a rather intensive usage.

With a slightly more economical usage, Mi MIX 2S can work for two days – but we will probably not squeeze much out of it. It is worth remembering that we can charge the battery wirelessly, there is a quick charging as well – it fully charges the phone in around an hour. So it is rather decent for a device with such parameters, but we cannot say that it is above average.
