Motorola Solutions, showed its first tablet for a professional use.
Tablet is quite clearly different from the typical structures, it is designed for the specific audience - warehousemen, engineers and other mobile professionals. This is one of the few devices of this class, using Android - because typically in the professional constructions there is used Windows CE. Motorola, however, found that Android 2.3 will be good as well.
The device, called ET1 Enterprise Tablet has a durable housing adapted to intensive use and a set of options that are hard to find in the consumer models. Among this, there are a barcode or magnetic card scanner and a number of different holsters and attachments.

The heart of the tablet is a dual-core processor Texas Instruments OMAP4 with 1 GHz clock speed working with a built-in 8 GB memory and microSD card slot for media up to 32 GB. Two cameras are also on the list of equipment. The main one has 8-megapixels and can record 720p video. The camera in the front is used for video conferencing. For now, the tablet is available only with a WiFi connection, but the manufacturer also announced a version with the mobile modules. When the battery is depleted, it can be replaced without powering off the device and the system. The condition is one - you must do so within fifteen minutes. Along with the tablet there is to appear with a package of office applications and supporting the production and the management. Unfortunately, the machine will not be cheap - the starting price is set at a thousand dollars.
