At Computex 2013 Asus has introduced many innovations, including a device that interests us most - a smartphone. The new model is called FonePad Note... What about Samsung?
I'm not sure if Samsung's marketing people will be happy with the name of the new Asus phablet, especially since this equipment has the potential to directly compete with Galaxy SIV or Note, which third edition is expected soon. Asus has put on size: a 6-inch screen and the opportunity to work with a stylus. That screen has a Full HD resolution and has been made in the Super IPS+ technology. The heart FonePad Note is a 1.6 GHz dual-core Atom Z2560 processor, supported by 2 GB of RAM. The phablet will connect to the network at HSPA+ up to 42 Mbit/s. The Taiwanese Note will also have an 8-megapixel camera and a 1.2-megapixel webcam and stereo speakers located above and below the screen, like HTC One. During the presentation of the equipment it was called as a tablet, but the size and the presence of 3G module with support for telephone communications lead us to include that it is a large smartphone. Unfortunately, at the moment we do not know the date of the market launch and the price of the model.

Apart from the phablet, Asus introduced the hybrid tablet Transformer Pad Infinity with an impressive 10.1-inch screen and a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, with a quad-core Tegra 4 chip clocked at 1.9GHz. This tablet - via HDMI - can transmit the video signal with a resolution of 4K, which for a time will be an important indicator of competition. Asus showed us also its counterpart of Nexus 7 from Google. MeMo Pad HD 7 has a screen resolution of 1280x800 pixels and a Cortex A7 quad-core CPU. Furthermore it was equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and stereo speakers, as well as Android 4.0, which begs the update shortly after the market release of the tablet. In the case of this model the price has been disclosed: 16 GB version will cost 149, and 8 GB - $ 129.

Transformer Book Trio, the last of the novelties, is a very interesting structure. This hybrid tablet that can operate in conjunction with a keyboard or without it, but in contrast to existing models, the keyboard can also work autonomously, when connected to a second monitor. So we have a laptop, tablet and PC in one device! It is worth noting that there will also be two systems at the disposal: Android and Windows 8. You can switch between them with one physical hotkey, but only when the equipment is connected together. If we unplug the tablet from the keyboard, we are left only with Android. The machine has two Intel's processors Core i7-4500U and Atom Z2580. The first will deal with Windows, and the second - Android. The tablet will have 65 GB of RAM, and there will be 1TB HDD inside the dock. They will also be, of course, two separate batteries, and a 11.6-inch screen will have a Full HD resolution.
