It is worth checking the correctness of their operation once assembling the "cover". I do not find it, however, a significant drawback, because we do not disassemble the phone so often - unless someone often changes a memory card and SIM card which slots are located near the battery. I must emphasize that the cover holds in place very stable and has no slack. It's nice when a phone does not crack in the hand. Assembled Lumia 520 gives the impression of a monolith, even though it's not so.

The back and sides mainly create the positive reception of a visual design. A simple shapeis disrupted only by the aforementioned buttons and the camera hole placed in the centre of the back, near the logo of the manufacturer, which is practically the only decorative element. Below there is also a small speaker hole, at the bottom we have a microUSB slot. On the upper wall we can find the hole of the minijack, there is no indication that 520 has an additional microphone to mute the noise. The slots are unfortunately not covered, although I am aware that any cap would disturb the simple shape. It is worth noting that the material from which the back was made is tinted, so even deep scratches should not be obvious. This plastic is surprisingly strong - the casing is a piece of decent work.

In addition, thanks to such a design, we'll easily change the style of the phone. It's enough to buy a cover in a different colour - and everything changes, especially since the casing colours correspond to the available colors of the system interface. The opinions on this interface personalization are divided. I met people who would like to have more options, this what Microsoft offers us in this respect I deem sufficient. We can change the colour of the tiles and components, as well as the background on which they appear. We can deploy tiles on the desktop any way we want, and we have their three sizes to choose from. Additionally a range of typical settings related to audio signals – does one really need more? Personally, I missed only a smooth adjustment of screen brightness (there is a three-stage, and automatic), and a simple option to set our own file as a ringtone.
