We rarely write about the little-known Chinese producers, but today I'll make another exception. The GEAK company unveiled four pretty interesting devices, breaking with the stereotypical image of "Chinese stuff".
Just like Oppo or Meizu, GEAK relies on strong specifications and innovative accessories, adding a good styling and favorable price. First let me introduce you two smartphones from this company: Eye and Mars. Eye is a phone with a 5-inch display and a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 CPU supported by a gigabyte of RAM. The phone supports connectivity through HSPA+, has a 13-megapixel camera with Sony Exmor RS matrix and a 2-megapixel front camera. Mars is the model-positioned slightly higher - it has a 5.8-inch Sharp's IPS display with a Full HD resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla 2. Its heart is a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor supported by 2 GB of RAM. Like in Eye, the main camera has 13 megapixels, but the front camera has 5 megapixels. Prices of the phones - after conversion - will amount to 330 and $ 490. Both models are controlled by the "pure" Android 4.2 Jelly Bean enriched with a factory voice assistant.

Smartphones are not everything, which the Shanghai company presented. It has also offered an android smart-watch. GEAK Watch has a built-in Wi-Fi module, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC and a 1.55-inch multi-touch display 240x240 pixels. This screen shows only the notifications from the phone, you can read messages or social status, and respond to all directly from the watch, it supports voice-to-text technology. The hardware consists of: 1 GHz Ingenic JZ4774 processor, 512 MB of RAM, 500 mAh polymer battery and 4GB of ROM. But this is not the end of this watch possibilities - it has an FM radio with headphone port, and it is certified for a reasonable IPX3 water resistance. GEAK Watch is controlled by Android 4.1, and its price is $ 330.

For true geeks GEAK company has one more small gadget: a ring on your finger, equipped with NFC and storing user data. It works with the above described devices, helping for example to unlock the phone. In addition, the ring called GEAK Ring a user can store a backup copy of a contact list and you can also use it to share your contact card with other NFC-enabled devices. In comparison to other devices, the ring basically is almost free, it costs $ 30.
