Looking for a smartphone with a mechanical QWERTY keyboard currently we do not have much choice. There remain antiques, low-end android phones or BlackBerry. W can't count on a solid Android model with the keys, but maybe that will change?
The images of Motorola, which is being developed for the U.S. Verizon network, leaked to the network. European fans of keyboards have far around the taste, but who knows - maybe the sliding keyboard will return, if the model shown today will achieve a market success?
Motorola Droid 5, which photos have appeared in the Chinese service Weibo is a higher-end model. For now, there is not much data, there is only what we see. Based on the pictures, we can assume that the smartphone will have a screen diagonal of around 4 to 5 inches. In one of the pictures we can see the coil for wireless charging, and therefore we can expect that element in the specification. It also has an NFC module and a waterproof cover. This last item is indicated by the casing design – which is made with one part of a flexible plastic. Droid 5 almost certainly will support LTE connectivity - after all, it is created for Verizon, which is now the flagship 4G service. On one of the shots we can see even the symbol on the cover...

Unfortunately, today we can say that this model does not have a chance to appear in Europe. Nevertheless, I am very optimistic and hopeful. If one network decided to revive this phone, maybe there will be successive brave ones!
