LG joins manufacturers offering smartphones with still fledgling Firefox OS. Unfortunately, despite our hopes, LG's offer - the Fireweb model does not differ from other models with this system.
LG Fireweb is a quite simple, rather budget phone with a 1 GHz single-core Qualcomm processor and a 4-inch display with a little outdated resolution 320x480 pixels and also not very impressive density of 144 pixels per inch. The smartphone also has a microSD card slot supporting a modest 4 GB of built-in memory and a battery with capacity of 1540 mAh, which is to provide up to 8 hours of talk time or a month on standby. Compared to other models with Firefox the LG smartphone stands out with quite a decent 5-megapixel camera equipped with LED flash. It also worth appreciating the styling, which is a quite successful mix of L-series with Nexus 4. The LG Smartphone debuted at the event in Brazil, where it costs 450 reals, which is about $ 207. The smartphone will be coming soon to Mexico, Peru and Uruguay, but there is no information about the availability in other countries.
