The family of Windows Nokias expands by a new model from the budget segment. Here comes Lumia 525, which will take place of the well accepted model of Lumia 520. The relationship with predecessor is all too apparent.
Quite a long time I was looking for the differences between the new Lumia and its predecessor. It went pretty easily with the first one - Lumia 525 has 1 GB of RAM, which is twice more than the predecessor. Dimensions have changed slightly, but the appearance of the housing - in fact, haven't. Watching the case, however, I found another element of the new model that differs it from the old one: Lumia 525 will be available in a narrower range of colours! If you give credence to the information on the manufacturer's website, we will not buy Lumia 525 already with a blue cover. The choice will be only white, black, yellow and red. As for the rest of the specifications – there are no significant changes.
Lumia 525 has a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4, and 8 GB of the built-in memory. This space can be enlarged with a 64 GB microSD card, or using 7 GB of data in the cloud. The phone is powered with the battery with a capacity of 1430 mAh, which is enough for 16 hours of talk time, less than six hours of watching movies or 48 hours of music. Lumia 525 supports WCDMA 900 and 2100 MHz and GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz.

The 4-inch display has a resolution of 800x480 pixels and "Super sensitive touch" touch panel, allowing the device to operate with gloves. Buyers of Lumia 525 receive standard applications HERE Drive, Maps and Transit, as well as programmes relating to photography Cinemagraph and Smart Camera. The camera, unfortunately, still has only 5 megapixels and doesn't have flash.
Nokia Lumia 525 is to hit the market before Christmas. We do not know its price, but it should not significantly differ from the price of the current model.
