The information that the flagship model of the company, Oppo N1 with a swivel camera module appears in the global sales from December 10 appeared on the Twitter account of the Chinese manufacturer of Oppo smartphones. It's a nice gift for Christmas.
Smartphones manufactured in China have a large crowd of supporters. Not all smartphones, of course. Mainly those that offer original solutions or promising technical specifications for relatively little money.
We already wrote about Oppo N1 when the manufacturer presented it for the first time. Take a look, there are also films. We have, of course, the card in the catalogue. The project seems to be really original, although the moving camera uses a mechanism known for a long time, even with a much simpler design of Samsung phones. A touch panel on the back of the smartphone is also a known solution used by Japanese manufacturers.
I do not know what version of the smartphone will be distributed all over the world - because the manufacturer assembles various memory capacities and installs different versions of the operating system: based on Android 4.2 Color OS system or CyanogenMod modification - while the prices are known. In the U.S. and Europe the smartphone is supposed to cost $ 599 U.S. or 449 pounds. I have some doubts as to whether these prices are really competitive and if Oppo N1 gets through them any popularity.
I do not encourage to nor discourage from the Oppo smartphone. I record just another episode in the history of the silent Chinese smartphone offensive in the U.S. and Europe. Before you run in December to online shops, please learn about the conditions for warranty and return policy if you receive a defective copy.
