Greek (!) Website dedicated to telecommunications shares with the world an interesting rumour about LG G2. This interesting, though not very well-selling smartphone, is to be offered in a mini version: with similar characteristics, but with a smaller display.
Unfortunately, the Greeks do not provide any reliable data. They suggest that LG G2 Mini will have a 4.7-inch display, but they are not able to determine whether it will remain in the FullHD resolution or go down to 720p. Here it is worth noting that the standard model LG G2 impresses not only with a high ratio of ppi, but also with a narrow border around the screen, which translates into a smaller device dimensions. We can therefore assume that the Mini version, although it will have a screen with a diagonal of 4.7 inches may be closer to phones with diagonals of 4.5 or even 4.3 inches.
According to the source site, other elements - such as the Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB of RAM - will be taken from a larger model unchanged. Similar is the case with a camera and an interesting option of buttons on the back panel. We can also assume that, just like the original, G2 Mini will have a sealed housing and unexpandable memory. For now, however, we aren't even sure of the name of this model, I therefore propose to treat these rumours with some caution. We can expect the launch of the smaller G2 during January's CES or February's MWC.
