For some time on the network there were rumours about an 8-inch Nokia's tablet, known under the code name Illusionist. Today there is a new rumour - saying that the device will not be created.
MyNokiaBlog citing "a reliable source of information in Nokia" gives such information. According to this site, the project associated with the device that was supposed to be a smaller version of Lumia 2520 has been deleted. Unfortunately, "the reliable source" does not reveal the motives that lie behind this decision. We only know that the project was stopped on command from the top - that is probably the board. Lumia 2520 therefore remains the only tablet in Nokia's offer - and we cannot count for another one in the near future.
According to earlier reports, Illusionist was supposed to be an 8.3-inch tablet, powered with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 and controlled by Windows RT. The launch of Illusionist was expected early next year - but we know that it will not happen.
