Tuesday brings another leak on Nokia. This time, however, the matter does not concern the android model Normandy, but the compact variant of Lumia 1520.
The smaller model, marked 1520V is supposed to debut in late February at the MWC in Barcelona. This phone would be identical to the original, but only reduced to the size of 4.3 inches. It would take over without changes a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM and a built-in ROM media with a capacity of 32 GB. What's interesting, the screen resolution would not change - and here I must admit that FullHD on 4.3 inch might look impressive. The only modifications with respect to the original, are to be - beyond size - a 14-megapixel camera and a slightly smaller battery - 3000 mAh.
If the rumors are reflected in reality, we will probably be able to talk about the new trend, which involves offering several size variants of the same model. On the one hand - it's a simple and inexpensive way to expand the model range, on the other hand - bigger choice for buyers. I wonder which of the manufacturers as the first will dare to present the phone in several sizes simultaneously...
