Sony expands its offer with a new compact tablet. The recipe for its creation was simple: to remove from Xperia Z Ultra cellular module!
And so the model SGP412JP which we met at the end of December, hit the stores. There is no sense to write about specification - the most significant change compared to the previously known Z Ultra is the lack of a cellular module. The capacity of a built-in memory increased up to 32 GB, there was also used Snapdragon 800 APQ8074 processor.

The device has the same Wi-Fi - but apart from it, it has everything what offers a standard model. Unfortunately, Xperia Z Ultra Wi-Fi (SGP412JP), as its designation suggests, will be offered exclusively on the Japanese market. For now, there is lack of information whether this will change. It's a shame, because there are not too many waterproof tablets in Europe... Especially since the price of the Japanese tablet is not exaggerated: it is 52 thousand yen, so about $ 500.
