Sharp introduces on the Japanese market a new smartphone AQUOS mini SHL24. The device will not come to Europe, but it is interesting enough that it is worth reading about it.
Well, what is special in it? SHL24 is a phone in a compact size of 4.5 inches. Despite its compact dimensions, its display has a FullHD resolution, which at a relatively small diagonal translates into an impressive pixel density, reaching 487 ppi. The display is made in addition in energy-saving technology IGZO and has the ability to adjust the colour balance according to the HSV model. The display also allows the use of very narrow frame around it, leading to a style called by the manufacturer "Edgest".
Hand in hand with an outstanding display follows the camera with BrightEye transmitter. The camera has a 13-megapixel sensor and a lens with f/1.9 brightness, the system also has a quick start - in 0.4 seconds. The camera has also a mode to improve nighttime photography - NightCatch.

The smartphone is based on the quad-core Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz, assisted with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics. AQUOS mini also has a 16 GB built-in memory and a battery with capacity of 2100 mAh. All is managed by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but that's not all. The housing will be available in several colours and it is also waterproof! Once again, I envy the Japanese, but jealousy is a nasty feeling...
